Lunch at agnès b. Cafe @ Rue De Marseille, Tsim Sha Tsui
I made several business trips to HK in May and June in 2018. On one of the trips in May, I entered HK from Shenzhen. On that trip, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in TST. After check in, it was already 1plus, so I headed to the K11 Mall next to Hyatt Regency for lunch.
I decided to have lunch at agnès b. CAFÉ @ RUE DE MARSEILLE. I have walked pass this cafe many times in the past and have been wanting to try the delicious looking cakes but have not had the opportunity or time to do so. The cafe is within Agnes B’s flagship Liftstyle stop here.
I decided to have the Express Set Lunch at HKD158. It came with a choice of starter, main course, coffee or tea. For the starter, I had a choice of daily salad or soup. I chose the soup which was a mushroom soup that day. It was creamy and tasty.
For main course, I had a choice of 3 pastas – Linguini pasta with red wine tomato sauce, Linguini with truffle and forest mushroom or Linguini Carbonara. I chose the Linguini with truffle and forest mushroom because I am a fan of truffle. I was not disappointed. The pasta was good. Most importantly portion was not big and so I still had room for dessert!
Lastly, I had a choice of coffee or tea. I chose to have an ice coffee.
Now for the real main course for me, dessert! I decided on the Valerie (HKD42) which is a mont blanc. Oh it was so good, I fell in love with mont blanc after this!
I was very happy to have decided to eat here. I finally got to eat the beautiful and tempting cakes! Yum yum! .
Incidentally when I went back to HK in Nov 2018, I couldn’t resist getting myself a Valerie from the Ange’s B coffee shop at IFC when I met someone there for coffee.
